California Boat Co. is established. Its roots trace to NorCal MasterCraft — an exclusive dealer of MasterCraft towboats and Crest pontoons, founded by people for whom boating had always been a way of life.
Expanding across Northern California
The company grows to multiple Northern California locations — including Sacramento's Riverbank Marina and the East Bay — pairing new and pre-owned sales with full-service repair facilities for customers from the Delta to Lake Tahoe.
Becoming a factory-authorized destination
The Discovery Bay store builds its lineup around best-in-class brands: Centurion and Supreme wake & surf boats, Bennington and Avalon pontoons, and Chaparral luxury sport boats.
A new name on the Delta
The Discovery Bay dealership takes the name California Boat Co. As the team put it: the name is new, but nothing else is — the same people, the same brands, and the same hands-on service.
