Do I really need to winterize in California?
Yes. Even in the mild Delta climate, months of layup invite fuel breakdown, corrosion and battery drain — and cold snaps bring real freeze risk. Winterizing protects the engine, systems and resale value.
What does winterization include?
A full layup: engine fogging, antifreeze through the cooling system, fuel stabilization, oil & filter change, draining water systems, battery service, drive lubrication, and shrink-wrap or a fitted cover.
What storage options do you offer?
Outdoor yard, covered, and indoor protected storage — all at our Discovery Bay location — plus spring commissioning to get you back on the water when the season returns.
When should I book?
Early fall. Off-season slots are limited and fill quickly, so reserving early secures both your service date and a storage spot before they're gone.
